An historic fortress that pre-dates the Civil war. Lots of fun to explore, or a great photo opportunity as you sail by. Fort Pickens is just part of 150 miles of National Seashore parks we are fortunate to have around us from eastern Santa Rosa Island to West Ship Island in Mississippi. And... Oh yes, the remains of the other two forts protecting Pensacola, Fort Barrancas and Fort McCree are looking to be explored. |

The anchorages at Big Lagoon, both Red Fish Point and Ft. McCree offer relaxing evenings and some of Florida's most beautiful sunsets. |

You have to visit Pirate's Cove. Besides the great
cheeseburgers, there just aren't many other places quite like it. Great
hats and shirts. Come "Parley" (pahr-lee) with the other
pirates at:

The Gulf Islands National Seashore stretches from Florida to Mississippi. That leaves you plenty of unspoiled white sandy beaches, wildflowers, birds and shell hunting to do. |

Morning On The Bayous |
This cruising area offers some of the most unspoiled and protected bayou anchorages on the Gulf Coast. Quiet anchorages like Robert's Bayou offer fascinating sights and mother dolphins feeding with their young.

The ICW anchorages at Pensacola and Navarre beaches offer fun for all members of your crew, regardless of their ages. Shopping, activities and nightlife abound at Pensacola Beach. You'll find Juana's Beach Bar, activities and the Sailor's Grill and Bakery at Navarre. "Put the coffee on...their pastries are among the best to be found." |

This is not a Chamber of Commerce photo. This was taken from the deck of "Splendid Adventure" while her crew was anchored at Big Lagoon. "The Blues" as they are known in Pensacola are probably our most beloved asset. They practice between March and November, every Tuesday and Wednesday morning and can be seen from the Naval Air Station, as well as, our great anchorages. The National Naval Air Museum is a great day for the whole family. Make sure you plan to see it while visiting Pensacola, the "home" of naval aviation.
